...think of the antithesis of JJ's attitude and demeanor, just not aggressive at all. He'll need some coaching up. He seemed to think that, even though he's been a blue chip recruit, he hasn't taken the strength training seriously--but that's coming from a former body builder, so take that FWIW. He'll need to really hit the weight room before getting on campus, wherever that may be, if he wants to contribute. If he's an EE (is he?) and we got to a bowl, the extra time would be extremely beneficial for him.
This is all second hand information, so take it for what it's worth.
Which is kind of what I'm thinking too. I watched the kid twice this year, he showed flashes but nothing spectacular. He's 17. I grew up A LOT between then and 21-22...FWIW, I had the same assessment of Bituli out of high school. Several others shared the same sentiment. Glad we were wrong. Some players need the push to bring the competition out of them.
Yeah, my barber is good friends with his dad. He says he’s the nicest guy on and off the field but plays soft. That is until he gets pissed. Also says he’s a hard UGA commit too. From a friend, who has been at every practice and every game for the last 3 years...

If he's an EE (is he?) and we got to a bowl, the extra time would be extremely beneficial for him. He has the physical tools, just needs to work on the intangibles.

I'm excited for him not flipping! UGA would go up in rank if they turned him loose (I believe he is their lowest ranked player coming in). He's a project is what I've always heard from uga fans.Listened to the interview they did with him over at RTI with their Premium site. I don't know if I'd get too excited about him potentially flipping. Seemed pretty solid to UGA in their interview with him.
