We’ve definitely got to do better on recruiting. No doubt about it. Especially if we want to compete for championshipsYou don’t get “extra years” in today’s college football.
He better close strong THIS year. And he needs to start raking NEXT year.
If he’s got assistants not pulling their weight in recruiting, he better do something about it. His job likely depends on it.

Relax. Nothing was suddenly “gotten”, and you weren’t trying to make that point to begin with. You haven’t proven jack.FINALLY!!!... I didn't think you were ever going to get it! Dabo built the program from 2008 then he started getting 5 stars. Your demanding we have to do so and so by so and so will not make it so. Enjoy the ride!

You were trying to imply that Clemson doesn’t recruit at a high level. Which is flat out wrong.
He was also stacking Top100 recruits on top of one another long before that, and his class rankings were depressed only due to size, not quality. So again, Wrong.
I’ve been following recruiting for a long time. I know how this works.
Our current level is not gonna cut it. And if Pruitt is the guy, he better have it rolling NEXT year. And if you believe otherwise, yea you guessed it.., wrong again.
I didn’t say stack”ing”2 nine win seasons (including bowl) with 6 NFL draft picks, and then went 4-8. I wouldn’t call that stacking 9 win seasons...
Actually you said “after 3 or 4 of em.” But anyway, we weren’t happy because the East sucked and he couldn’t win it. We were the 2nd most talented team in the SEC and couldn’t beat Vandy. And then he went 4-8. Had he went 8-4 in 2017 he would still be here. Still irrelevant to the point I made.I didn’t say stack”ing”
I said stack”ed”
Which is true. He put up back to back 9 win seasons.
Everybody was good with that right? Butch wasn’t at all shocked by the fanbase’s response, right?
Y'all tawkin' Butch?Actually you said “after 3 or 4 of em.” But anyway, we weren’t happy because the East sucked and he couldn’t win it. He coached them for 6-7 seasons before landing deshaun Watson.Yea, those Clemson classes weren’t full classes, hence the lower rankings. BUT, they were littered with Top100 players, so let’s not pretend like Clemson didn’t have big time recruits on the field...
Also - They had Deshaun Watson, an Elite College QB
Lol.... RIGHT...Dabo built Clemson up over a period of years getting better recruits as he went. He did not jump in and have national championship caliber teams at the beginning. RIGHT....Pruitt will build Tennessee the right way. The number of years that takes is the only question. RIGHT....Phil didn't ask you. The only question is how much you'reRelax. Again. He should. As long as real development is taking place. We would be stupid if we fired him for winning 8-9 games a year. If you’re doing that, all it takes is a QB to get over the hurdle. Chances are we’d fire him in that scenario and hire another IBJ.You think Pruitt is gonna get 6-7 years to get it right?
Do you always ramble on with nonsensical cliches?Lol.... RIGHT...Dabo built Clemson up over a period of years getting better recruits as he went. RIGHT....Phil didn't ask you. The only question is how much you're
going to moan and groan because you can't have it like you want it..... RIGHT.... You must have missed how Phil built the team up to a national championship team while you were following recruiting. It was the same as Dabo at Clemson. RIGHT.... My point was using Clemson as a role model of having to have top 5 recruiting class by year 3, or you'll never win a NC is not a good idea. QUESTION....ARE you Catbone???
