I think several coaches could've and CRG is one of the best in the business. CRG doesn't seem to care if you are a 2 star or a 5 star. He expects the same level of effort from everyone. I think KM came in and maybe thought he could skate by on talent. Hopefully CRG shows Nolen that dog ain't gon hunt.

Talk about a thread going off the rails! I have no idea if he pans out or even chooses to be a Vol. I do know that you don't get rated this high unless you are a great football player. To me, the fact that he is even considering Tennessee is a + considering almost anything you read about the Vols is negative. Also it doesn't bother me for someone to post their observations on a potential recruit. I just feel like it's possible to make your point and be done. At the end of the day if he picks the Vols it will be looked at as a major boost for their program. Go Vols!

You missed all the things he said to make it personal. He didn't just say that WN didn't impress him or look like a 5*. He proceeded to say he would be a flop, never play in the NFL, etc. Trashed his work ethic, ability, etc. Then went on to talk about players on his HS team. For pages

Not a meaningful contributor straight out of highschool. Never played in college up to a 5* potential. He wasn't bad, but he wasn't anything special.

Definitely better than Carl Stewart, though… sorry man couldn’t help it.

Lol. I got no beef with that. Carl was an amazing talent in high school but played out of position most of his college career and I think wasted his talent when he could have been developing at a different position (like DE or FB/HB).

Fine to have your opinion. If we show well on the field, he will be a Vol and if this happens, he will be an outstanding college football player. I think Rodney knows what he is doing and if this kid was a piss ant, we would not be going after him like we are.
