Sorry about that-- I didn't see the post. Not sure how UT stacks up dollar to dollar, but UT has the money to do what we need to do. Being underfunded isn't our problem. UT isn't a win-at-all-costs school, like other Big 6 schools. UT admin and boosters don't align money strategically, and there are multiple agendas. Some of our major donors earmark big donations for academics and facilities-- and some of our legacy families have been re-allocating funding that way.
And it’s the same ole story on here every year, no matter what some of y’all going down with the ship.Yes if you read whole article Mom and family want to be a big part of his career so staying close to homeis what she wants. I believe in the end this close family and Rodney G will win the day for UT. In CHRIST Alone
No it isn't. That's plain dumb.Nolen won't save Huep nor will his next recruiting class. His W-L and 2023 class is all he can hang his hat on.

Heupel's success will likely come down to how he plays the portal in the first couple of years. He needs guys who can play right away. If he can only "hang his hat on" the '23 class... assuming no improvement and maybe a decline between now and the time those guys are ready to compete... then he'll be long gone before all that can happen.
The class doesn't depend on Nolan. That much is true. No single miss or hit determines the future of a program.
