Look guys y’all are still stuck in this NCAA way of thinking this is highest bidder and take care of my family future type of recruiting.. These type of schools are playing chess while Tennessee still playing checkers

That has nothing to do with what I said. People are judging a staff that is 9 months old instead of the next year. I acknowledge your point though.

A&M playing chess but still has never been to Atlanta once? or won a title in almost 85 years. Last division title was 2010 Big 12. Chess.



they arent much different than we are. We just have an NCAA cloud right now.

You have to beat Kentucky. Finish 7-5. Win your bowl game. That’s some solid momentum in year 1. Heupel needs to get a ranked win this year and show he’s already ahead of schedule in Year 1. That’s the only way to get top recruits to take you seriously. 6-6 isn’t going to cut it.

Why? Anyone that actually believed a 5 star #1 overall player type would pick UT this year is lying to themselves. This was always a looooong shot not matter where he moved or what the “insiders” hear and say.

I’m as optimistic as it gets but I’ve never believed this kid would actually sign with UT. He can go anywhere he wants. We’re not in a position to win these battles at the moment. NIL or not.

We hit in the juco ranks and portal, this cycle can still be a major success, even with a class that doesn't crack the top 25 to 30. Juco and portal is where this cycle should be measured. We land another Byron Young or two from the juco ranks, and then go out and hit in the portal, like we have the last couple of years, I'll be extremely happy...even if our high school class is not that highly regarded.

Speaking of high school class...im not even sure where it's ranked right now, last I saw was 31st, I think...with that said, who knows what we truly have with our committed guys. Covid has hampered everything, including true evals of most high school talent. I like our class right now...that Sampson kid is a 3* my ass...that kid can play.

How in the hell do you let the number1 player coming outta high school in the state get away from you? i wished they would've never hired Heupel and this staff...no excuses for that type of **** to happen and then he was going to school at Knoxville Powell....i mean really? But you people keep thinking that Heupel and that staff can turn that program around.....pfffffff
