Why? Anyone that actually believed a 5 star #1 overall player type would pick UT this year is lying to themselves. This was always a looooong shot not matter where he moved or what the “insiders” hear and say.

I’m as optimistic as it gets but I’ve never believed this kid would actually sign with UT. He can go anywhere he wants. We’re not in a position to win these battles at the moment. NIL or not.

We should have made the playoffs last year and we beat Bama this year. You are the missing piece to us being a national champion.
