In this case, I tend to believe him in regards to Tennessee's paltry NIL offerings and lack of preparedness with respect to their contemporaries. I've heard that same story, or a version of it, from about 3 different angles, now.
I strongly believe it is a part of the reason why we fell off the map with several basketball recruits, this summer, who seemed very close to committing, or at worst, had Tennessee as the clear leader, only to hold off and eventually choose another school. Rick Barnes is too good of a recruiter to just completely strike out with that many prospects in the same class without some sort of extenuating circumstance. Now, maybe that extenuating circumstance wasn't NIL, but if not,, the timing of the drop-off in recruiting and NIL coming into rule is extremely coincidental.
Come on man don’t be this naive. Big deals become public knowledge. There’s literally no good reason to hide a deal... the school wants people to know because it helps recruiting. The business wants people to know because it helps businesses.. that’s why they give players money to begin with, for their business to get publicity. And the players want people to know because of pride. What you see players posting about on social media reflects what our players are getting. They aren’t hiding anythingNone of us know about all of our NIL deals.
Haha,
I was thinking more NIL situation. I guarantee you Texas A&M is offering him advertising $$$$. If someone in Tennessee had a company that could offer an NIL endorsement, we would probably land him.
Haha, yeah he definitely wouldn't go to Knoxville then and I wouldn't blame him lol.
Arch has 15 months to make a decision. If they get Kiffin I think they get Arch. If not I’m expecting him to go to UGA. Don’t see him going to OM or UT... think he and his fam would like to see him build his own legacy rather than follow in someone’s footsteps.
He is a jackassThe worst I've seen is him calling someone dumb "azz". That's not nice, but it doesn't quite compare to personal attacks based on someone's actual life/profession. His crap is pretty normal message board stuff. If you want to attack him personally, then put your identity out there and level the playing field. I've questioned his trolling of continuing to post accolades about the Wade twins, but I can do it without taking swipes at him based on his job or calling him a POS conman. Some of you are too dang sensitive and clearly care too much about his opinion.
