He still sucks outside of his win over Bama. If Tennessee paid a coach anywhere close to that amount and that coach only did what Jimbo did, this Fan Base would be up in arms trying to get him fired.

I’m not sure on that, never cared to ask, and my brother wouldn’t know that either.

I was told UT, but A&M is throwing that money around like it’s nothing. Like previous post, the family is all about money. Kids like that never pan out.

I will say he is one of the most athletic DL’s I’ve seen. If he keeps his head on straight, I think he will be a good player wherever he goes, but I can also see his family complaining about money/deals and that will be a locker room issue, and if that happens then he will end up like Middleton looking for a new home every year.

What is your definition of par, and how are you qualified to establish that level? I would venture to say the least successful coach in the SEC knows a hell of a lot more than you, otherwise we would see you pacing the sidelines making $$$$.

So what. Doesn’t change anything about what he has done in the past. FSU peaked and when they started downward, he bailed. Smart move to stay ahead of it. Still went 8-4 and beat Bama but lost other games he shouldn’t have. Good coach but not 15 million a year.

I know that’s the truth. I don’t know if I would have made it out of my 20’s alive if I had that kind of money. My bad decisions would have compounded with a six digit bank balance.

Personally, I think Danny White is one of the best AD's out there. I know it's still early in his tenure here but I think we finally have a competent AD which we haven't had since Doug Dickey.

I'm not a de1 basher, but I'd disagree with this for the simple fact that the SEC has at least half the conference ranked in the Top 25 all season, every year. Coaching can't be that bad.

My biggest issue with de1(which I've told him before) is for someone who continually says he doesn't care about the opinions of mere Vol fans like the rest of us, he sure does react and try to correct us often.

As far as his opinion goes, take it or leave it, it's up to you. Who cares what you think he expects. I sure don't buy everything he says, but I'm not going to act like he doesn't know anything just because of his delivery. I'm also not going to attack him with some snarky smart ass comment every damn time he posts. I get it, many here don't like him. I'm not invested enough in what he says to like or dislike him and IMO, there are plenty on here far more annoying.
