help me understand something. outside of the fact that he chose TXAM over us the first time, for whatever reason, what has this guy done that everyone calls him a problem? i cannot find any example where he has done or said anything that would lead me to believe he is any kind of problem. i hate it that he didnt come here to begin with, but i understand at that time this place was a dumpster fire and these kids have to make a business decision that they feel sets them up for their next step. if i am wrong and someone can point me to an article that shows why this guy is a bad apple, i will be glad to read it, but all i can gather right now is people are holding a grudge because he went there two years ago. they would rather him not come here to prove some idiotic point that he should have came here first than to bring in a pretty dominant DT, which we all know by looking at our recruiting over the years, do not grow on trees. i mean, even cade mays took a shot at Tennessee in his Christmas video after he committed to jawja but everyone welcomed him back with open arms ()

You made the claim. Now back it up. Show us where he isn’t a culture fit. And can you find where Nolen has been a problem at TAMU? Sorry but we need this guy. We need instant impact guys on both sides. Nolen is the type of player that UGA and Bama get that we as TN fans sit back and say man when are we gonna get those type of guys.So why did the coaches say thanks but no thanks?
Are the coaches lying?
That was 2 years ago though.I think it has more to do with his time at Powell. I have no information either way, but the rumor was that he took plays off in high school and thought he was above it.
Now, you don't get to the level he's at right now without putting in serious work, so I doubt he's really lazy.
how have the nolen's handled anything sleazily? they never led Tennessee on by doing something like committing here and then flipping on signing day. once again, your statement comes across as sour grapes that he went to A&M in the first place. His position coach left and he had made it pretty clear that was a reason he went there and stumped pretty hard for him to get the head coach job. when he didnt, and left for another job, nolen decided to leave. that cant be construed as sleazy. it is just that every time someone wants to drag this guy, all they have is "not a culture fit" but cant show proof why he would beHe gets a pass bc of his dad and Coop.
The Nolan’s on the other hand have always just handled things sleazily.

If our staff is gonna let pettiness stand in the way of getting a top notch guy at a position of need then that’s sad. So please tell us also, how was Cade Mays a culture fit after his video saying F Tennessee? Did Nolen do anything like that? Oh but let me guess, you will somehow spin it to say the Mays situation was different right?
there is the problem. too many people "heard that he was lazy" , but i never saw any coaches from powell come out and say this guy was a slacker. but quite frankly, i have seen all kinds of examples in high school where physically dominating players dont go 100% because they do not have to. they can go 80% and still be dominant. at the end of the day, you are exactly right, if he wasnt willing to put in the necessary work, he would not be as coveted as he is todayI think it has more to do with his time at Powell. I have no information either way, but the rumor was that he took plays off in high school and thought he was above it.

I don't think the Mays example is helping your case. You made the claim. Now back it up. Show us where he isn’t a culture fit. And can you find where Nolen has been a problem at TAMU?
