Would I take Nolen? Yes. Do I think we have a shot? No. People seem to be getting their hopes up over something that's not gonna happen. Let's just hope he opts to leave the SEC. Even if it's Michigan, that's better than Bama or Georgia. I do think the past history between Nolen and UT is too much to overcome.

I checked with our higher-ups and was told to relay this message:

Anyone who has publicly announced on their own accord that they’re entering the portal will be added to the 247Sports transfer portal.

Walter Nolen wrote a farewell message to A&M, said his recruitment is wide open and his father has since been publicly discussing his transfer options.

While his paperwork may not have been processed by compliance to officially have him listed in the NCAA portal, his public statement and comments since are enough justification to have him in our 247Sports transfer portal.

He did it through On3's Hayes Fawcett, shared it through his Instagram page, liked it on X, etc. His dad also told ESPN that he is leaning toward entering the portal.

So you don't love Omari, then? I'm confused. Quoting one bad game where literally everyone on both sides of the ball played like garbage is hardly proof that "he's not good enough". He had a career high 31 total tackles and a sack this year. Who is your answer on the bench if not him? I just don't see the downside to him returning.

This kid has one more year to play before he's draft eligible (chase more money).

YEAH bring him in and pair him with Hobbs, Pearce, Josephs Carter, Gibson etc and lets ride!
