Sure, he is a take .... but the biggest problem is that the guy simply hates Tennessee.
The week of the Texas A&M vs Tennessee game in October, Walter Nolen was asked by an A&M reporter how he felt about going "back home" to play in Knoxville. This was what he said :
"I absolutely hate Knoxville & my time at Powell High School was lame. I was going to go to Tennessee until I seen they recruited a bunch of pu$$ies." - Walter Nolen Jr.
That quote was posted on Richard G. West's twitter/X account at the time and made it's rounds on social media.
Slice bread?maybe if true, this has something to do with nolen transferring, but i think this is about as ridiculous as deion sanders telling people that colorado does not pay for players then poormouthing for donors to give more to get better players

Georgia and Michigan would take anyone.Obviously I know nothing about the background of his initial recruitment...
...but
If he "burned bridges" as some are saying but he's good enough for georgia and Michigan... then maybe we need to reevaluate our standards.
To be fair, it wasn't Fisher getting canned that seems to be driving this transfer. Seemed to materialize when his DL coach took a new job recently. So he only leaves when Fisher gets canned but he seems like a player who bounces around? Yeah that makes sense. This was predictable? Sure it was. If Fisher didn’t get canned you think he jumps in the portal?
