Im most worried about the team in Tuscaloosa, imo hes theirs to lose. Some off season staff turnover after this year would be nice and probably help tho.Somebody tell him Fl’s defense is terrible, Ga hasn’t had a DL drafted since 2013, and Garner has put like 35 dudes in the league on his own. Simple decision
So he puts us in the top 5, but we have 0% of getting him? Why not just leave us out? I'm not saying you are wrong by no means and I don't follow recruiting regularly like you do, but I simply don't understand the logic of it, if what you say is true. I understand kids want attention but he is already way to good to drag schools along if he has no intent to attend. If he waits until after the season and the D-line looks improved under RG, how would that not look good and give us a chance? If this is simply for publicity for TN, it is truly sad how low we have gone to have a HS kid to "act" like he would attend this University just so we can gain "favor" with other HS kids. Maybe I'm too old and just don't understand, but to me that is tasteless, classless, and down right not needed. We don't need HS kids to "do us a favor" but acting interested. I learned along time ago, honesty is truly the best policy, and if what you say is true, kids needs this to be taught to them early on in life.correct
because his coach is a former player and he likes RG. Good look for us.So he puts us in the top 5, but we have 0% of getting him? Why not just leave us out? Go Vols!!
they did in 2013. you also have guys like Lorenzo Carter who came in as DL, were converted to LB or OL, and got drafted. bottom line, all these coaches develop the same if they're not complete morons. unfortunately, we've hired a few of those in the past 15 years. if you recruit well and develop average, you will put guys in the league. So why hasn't UGA had a DL drafted since he left?
8 years and how many 5 stars? Shameful.they did in 2013. you also have guys like Lorenzo Carter who came in as DL, were converted to LB or OL, and got drafted. bottom line, all these coaches develop the same if they're not complete morons. unfortunately, we've hired a few of those in the past 15 years. if you recruit well and develop average, you will put guys in the league.
If we finished .500 or better I'd be happy with this schedule. With better QB play last year, we would have had more wins. It seemed every loss Pruitt had was by 21+. As long as Heupel keeps the losses close id be happy.Would you guys be alright (not necessarily happy) if we finished sub .500 but all the games were competitive, showed up with a well coached team and we were a fun team to watch?
Part of me says no, the other parts says it could be a sign of promise.

If they developed the same as Garner they would have had guys drafted. But alas, hasn’t happened in 8 years, in spite of several blue chip recruits. No way I’d go there if I’m a DLthey did in 2013. you also have guys like Lorenzo Carter who came in as DL, were converted to LB or OL, and got drafted. bottom line, all these coaches develop the same if they're not complete morons. unfortunately, we've hired a few of those in the past 15 years. if you recruit well and develop average, you will put guys in the league.
