Receiver gloves don’t really help with the cold

Tennessee, Florida, and Texas have no income tax. I expect the states in SEC footprint to attempt to change that soon.
state income tax isn’t a significant enough factor to determine the school regardless of NIL. I mean it could be a tiebreaker possibly but for the amount of money these guys are making it won’t matter that much.

It’s a major enough factor to steer some pro athletes from California and New York teams to Texas and Florida teams. It’s a pretty significant difference from there. OTOH, Georgia is 5.5% and and Alabama is 5% so it’s less, but a % all the same.

Edit: the more important factor obviously is earnable income (agreeing to your point of tie break)

You have to look at the brackets also. What is the minimum salary to pay state taxes?

I guess we’ll see. I hope it favors us but there will still be plenty of $$$ under the table as well I would assume
I’m still in the camp of hating this.

Here’s another loophole to watch: what would stop teams from loading up on 4 star preferred walk ons with NIL deals on the side?

DL drafted in the 1st round

Ojulari was an OLB and will be in the league
Jordan Davis will be a high draft pick probably a first rounder this coming year. He would have been drafted last year if he came out. The dude is a monster. Most of the big time DL Kirby has recruited are still in school. They are why we had -1 yards rushing against them last year.
