The distance argument is a canard. Knoxville is as close to Dburg as College Station. If he is not visiting this weekend, then he's not picking us next week. If that is so, he has played us a la Tee Higgins. If not, he's unnecessarily masked his intentions. Either way, IMHO, that makes him a pass on character alone.
@Orange defense I have to admit that if you were after attention this whole time, you definitely got it.No one saw him or his stepbrother at the game tonight, and I definitely didn’t see him. Some sources at the ball game, has told people that he made it to campus with family. It has also been stated that the coaches of Tennessee contacted him again. Tonight at the gym, there were talks that his high school coach, assistants, and others around town convinced him to go. The stories are going around, and thus far this is what I’ve heard tonight. I haven’t heard from anyone that he cancelled his visit, after the convincing. Folks, I want to believe that he is on Rocky Top. I haven’t steered any one wrong at all. Every time there was negativity by someone that he wasn’t coming, or something else, I’ve been able to report to you the opposite, then there was backup. I’ve told you the truth on here time after time. There has been confusion into his recruitment the last two days, and certainly it has been a concern to me, and others in Dyersburg. Now, with these sources, I only hope that these guys are right tonight, because like I’ve said, I haven’t seen anyone close to the vest. If I’m wrong, then these guys tonight told me wrong, and I’ll take the punishment for it. There may be other things to pop up about all of these stories later on this weekend. If they do, then I’ll be right here to give all of the stories that has happened. As for Christopher saying something different to people, no, I don’t think he has. If he doesn’t come to Tennessee, then I’ve waisted a lot of time on this thread, giving you updates. All of the updates were positive updates, and hopefully this one is to. If he isn’t on campus by the sources that has said that he was, believe me, they will hear from me next week about it, but I won’t be mad about it. If this doesn’t go down on the last day of his visit, then I feel like that we were so close of getting him. So, I’m a big Tennessee fan, and like some has said here, that I’ve been pulling for him to commit, because he knows that along with others from around the area. I still have hope, and that is why I’m still here.

I will say contrary to the concensus of your trolling or not, I confess that your lack of being offended at any given time is respectable. For that sir, I give you a like. People took this so personal, cussed at you, disrespected you, straight dogged you, yet somehow you have found a way to keep me laughing and not take anything personal (except for the Arky trolls; you were in straight attack mode there). As wierd as this may come off to many people....

There are 5 days left before the recruits choose the destiny. This thread was started I believe on Nov. the 26th. Most of us have been here since then, and I believe most of you want him to be a vol like I do. There has been ups and downs with other recruits right now. We can’t give up on these guys that are going to sign Wednesday, especially the ones we are after. Those guys including Russell is important for this class. Can we all just believe on them for once that we can pull these guys on in here? Well, I believe.
You're still happy with mediocrity after all those years with Butch? The overall class will end up being decent, but will be a very top heavy class more than likely. I could easily see almost half of this class being somewhat of a flop. Not that they will be terrible, but they likely won't be impact players and Russell would likely be in that same boat. Now Wright, Morris, Crouch, Keyton, McCollough, Harrison, Gray, Fields, Burrell, Middleton, Harris, Beasley, Lampley, and Williams will likely be solid contributors, but I'm not sure about the rest. We really needed to add some more talent that is capable of contributing within the next 2 years like To'oto'o, Robinson, Bogle, Pickens, or even being able to keep Lakia Henry
