I have never understood the obsession with instate players. There are some TN fans that think if the HC at TN doesn’t land the states best players that it’s somehow a failure. Get the best players you can from wherever you can. But you are right. If this guy was from say NC, it wouldn’t even matter.

Heupel puts up massive offensive numbers too and he is actually a decent guy. I don't understand the Kiffin infatuation with some of our fans. It was 2009 so why are we still doing this? Vol football is in a great position right now and it finally feels real.
