Assuming both Kendrick and Roberts being the only starting seniors this year do yall think Mays will start as a true freshman? If so RT or LG (Jones moving to center is my thinking here)

I'm actually a little concerned that he isn't being challenged enough. He's just throwing these kids around like rag dolls!

Early impact at guard and moves out to tackle later IMO. I think T. Smith is on that same trajectory.

Have you ever stopped to think that one of the reasons Maryville is successful is that they tend to not beat themselves with stupid penalties? Catholic had at least 3 unsportsmanlike penalties. That's not Maryville crying. That's catholic getting flustered and making mental errors. And on the last drive of the game, Mays got beat with a speed rush on two consecutive plays. He had no choice but to hold. He got called. Cost his team a chance to tie it up.

If he continues to develop, he'll be one to watch. Also had a pair of tall athletic receivers that might get on somebody's radar.

Good grief. Why is giving an honest assessment of a kid immediately labeled "trashing a vol commit", "throwing shade", or having an agenda? As a vol fan, do any of you think the poster wants to see Cade fail, or that he revels in the fact that Cade wasn't as impressive as he thought he might be? Even if he is a Maryville fan, he's still a Tennessee fan, so I don't get why so many of you think he's being disingenuous in his assessment. Maybe Cade had an off night, maybe he is out of shape, or maybe he played the best team he'll face all season?

I appreciate his honest feelings and reporting both the good and bad rather than a lot of the fanboy responses from a lot of people that simply ignore player's faults. After he committed to Clemson, you'd have thought Tee Higgins was an average 2* stick-man last fall by some accounts from our so-called objective fans who were "just giving their honest opinion".

They were on another level with him though. I'm sure they will continue to be a top program in ETN.
