I’m not seeing it. The best player on the field is McMann (sp?), the running back for McCallie. However, Brentwood Academy’s tackling is so atrocious even he is difficult to truly judge. How much of it is him, and how much of it is horrific defense?

This is the first time I’ve seen either of these teams. When I watched Lipscomb Academy, Spillman and Beasley jumped off the screen. Those guys are studs.

I will say that MacIntyre has very little help from his teammates. His offensive line tonight reminds me of watching the Giants play the Cowboys last week.

Right or wrong, I'd bet GM decided he wasn't throwing a 4th pick trying to force a throw into coverage when no one is getting open.

St. Hilaire, the McCallie QB, better be savoring each and every one these wins they’re getting this year. He won’t see much of that at Vanderbilt.

You’re right. I’m not a fan of players that concede defeat rather than give a teammate at least a chance to try to make a play.

Note that I don’t actually believe that is what happened. I think he forgot it was 4th down.

Well if he forgot it was fourth down...his situational awareness needs work...him being the QB he should never forget what down it is... besides linemarkers state what down it is ....but I guess it could happen 😏

No way he forgot it was 4th down. He was running for his life the whole series. The game was already decided at that point, but he didn't forget the down.

There's a place off the beaten path in the hills about 20 min north of lafollette tn. Ain't no GPS so you'll need to ask around...discreetly. Good news tho. It's all organic and ain't no taxes. ;)

Yep...running for his life all night, receivers had balls bouncing off their hands...and that's when they could manage to get open, which wasn’t often. He had no one open to throw it to on the 4th down in discussion. He actually bought some time on that play by getting outside the pocket and still no one could get open. They were down 2 scores on 4th and 7 deep well inside their own territory with about 3 minutes to play at the time.

I made someone at work mad, just picked up Jellico, Lafollete, and Maynardville in my sales territory.

MacIntyre completed 25-of-37 passes for 252 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions.

Worst start for BA since 1972. Ouch
