Add it to the list!I really like GMAC I'm a little bit more impressed with Faizon though I think he has a higher ceiling. It'll be interesting to see how this QB battle plays out over the years but we should feel good we have 3 solid recruits in back to back to back classes that'll compete for the job after Nico. I think its hard to judge how these players read the field and preform in the SEC until they actually play in the SEC. Either way huge pickup and he could be the next great vols QB
He also, like Nico, has a really quick release, big frame, and is very athletic for a guy his size.I think Heup really likes this kid mainly because of his touch and accuracy on deep throws. Nico has a great arm, but he misfires badly on deep routes and it causes our PPG to be way lower than it could/should be.
I think he will get better, but this offense needs those deep shots to be hit at a high rate to really put massive points on the board.
Of course some of those are also on the WRs dropping those passes when he does their them perfectly.
I think , after a year in our S&C program, he will become a monster of a QB . I think he threw a few Ints, last year and the year before.. I have not seen enough film to deter the cause of those ints.He also, like Nico, has a really quick release, big frame, and is very athletic for a guy his size.
The INTs are mostly from not coming off his first read. My biggest concern with GM is that he doesn't seem to go through progressions. When you watch a QB and his head doesn't move, that's a bad sign (think Guarantano). But Heupel seems to believe he can coach this part of the position with GM, and he's forgotten more about the QB position than I'll ever know.I think , after a year in our S&C program, he will become a monster of a QB .
