He also had a LOT of plays called back due to penalties. I can’t remember the game but he had 3 tds of longer than 60 yards called back. So instead of 1 carry per drive he might have had 5-6. Plus the ones that didn’t count.

You're starting to make an argument for no school districts, unless you're also making the argument that athletes should get special preference per not having to follow district rules?

Many times, programs can't improve due to budgets, and budgets depend on tax base, and tax money depends on the affluence of the district. So, the argument becomes, "They should have the right to have other parents pay for their school."

My kids went to private schools so I paid for other parent’s kids school. Why anyone is complaining about contributing to educate the young people in our country is lame.

And last I heard, schools received money based on student size not on the property taxes collected of the surrounding neighborhoods. From my observations in Chattanooga, the poorest communities have been getting the new school buildings and the lion’s share of grants

This kid is quite a bit bigger, but this kids recruitment reminds me of Devrin Young’s. Very very good recruit, but no true offer from the home state school. They both put up gaudy numbers, but up against East tn competition. I think this is a similar situation.

I think there's something else going on here. If you watch their highlights, Bishop is way better than Young was, even playing weak competition.

I don't think they weigh and measure the children.
