Yep the game of football is played the same in HS as college. Especially at a lower level Tennessee HS. Randall Cobb was a phenomenal state championship winning QB in HS. Can't believe UK was dumb enough to move him to WR?!?! Just dumb.

When has this staff had any success with BIGGER BACKS. They took Banks and moved him to the bench. All years seems as if they were moving somebody. Ty Chandler is a very good back and could have been much better if not for a poor offensive line. If the kid wants to play running back and his heart is set on it then I hope he goes to a school that accepts him as a running back. This getting to Tennessee and being pulled and moved everywhere and never seeming to fill a spot has to end.

Hopefully the new OC will know how to get the ball into the play makers hands this year newt ! That in itself would be a huge improvement

Not just u in general..buncha folks had him flipping

The only weekend I thought he was going to jump on board was after his loss in the state playoffs and that was the only occasion I heard he was inbound to the vols. As you can see below I'm not as bullish on him being ours whenever we want him.

I don't think it's a foregone conclusion he's our if we want him. Bama and Ole Miss are coming hard after him and Michigan is holding on for dear life. If he decomitts I wouldn't be surprised to see him take his time deciding on where to land.

I’m not sure it’s coming soon, honestly. It’s not lost on him that our o-line is complete trash. He’s keeping a close eye on what nasties we have committed. CJP will be in Monday to see him and I hope we do get Eric. He’s a great player.

This isn't to say he not coming to UT just that he's taking his time. My info comes from someone who talks to him pretty much daily.

I hated how everyone gave Fulmer a hard time telling him he wasn’t going to play qb here. He was honest with him from the get go. Kentucky said sure you can play qb then a week into practice the rest is history.

Not at all. He even said we were recruiting him as RB. Only slot talk would be how he would be used like with chandler. All he has to do is watch chandler for his role

Banks was moved because he fumbled the ball three time with limited carries.
