No one thinks smith will be medically cleared are you crazy? If some cards fall like most think they will, our OL next year could likely be:
LT: Tatum/Morris(5*)
LG: Smith/J Johnson
C: Kennedy/Locklear
RG: R Johnson/Carvin
RT: Wright(5*)/Neihaus
That's a pretty good OL and worlds better than what we had by years end. Most people think Smith will be cleared for football and Kennedy should make a good recovery. The only player we lose going into 2020 is Kennedy and possibly Smith if he declares. Otherwise, that depth chart is in-tact for 2020.
Bear in mind, most of those guys languished under a lacidasical S&C program under lyle. Given a full off-season of S&C (and, you know, getting most of our OL over 300lbs) and removal of cancerous tissue, I expect our OL will be more physical, especially if we have a legit OT that can allow Smith to slide to OG where he's more comfortable.
When has this staff had any success with BIGGER BACKS. They took Banks and moved him to the bench. All years seems as if they were moving somebody. Ty Chandler is a very good back and could have been much better if not for a poor offensive line. If the kid wants to play running back and his heart is set on it then I hope he goes to a school that accepts him as a running back. This getting to Tennessee and being pulled and moved everywhere and never seeming to fill a spot has to end.
Not sure how that’s a good OL at all. Same guys as this year....only without Smith since he’s clearly not coming back....and adding a true freshman or two. Don’t see anyway our OL is worth a damn yet again next year.If some cards fall like most think they will, our OL next year could likely be:

Another year in S&C program will help immensely for guys like Carvin and both Johnson’s.Not sure how that’s a good OL at all. Well part of the problem, and this doesn't go away next year, is that we've been so bad on the o line, had so many injuries on the o line, that we've had to rely on young guys way too much.Anyone that condemns a freshman lineman is a troll.
It’s what volnation does. We said the d-line and o-line was gonna be good for the past two years with the exact same playersNot sure how that’s a good OL at all.
