'19 TN RB Eric Gray

No just truth. I know this board is full of dullards so I should expect this response I suppose.
Well then please expound on the insight you brought... What was it you said again? "He's not good enough....". Followed by "it's just the truth"

Riveting material for us dullards ...Post more please...

You guys constantly rail on butch jones and how he couldn’t recruit and yet when it’s mentioned that one of the lowest ranked guys from his classes won’t contribute you get offended.

Unless Bama misses on Trey Sanders (not likely) they shouldn't be viewed as a threat to make any sort of push for Gray.
Maybe I was wrong in my above post. Maryland wants to hire Bama's OC Mike Locksley as HC. If he takes that job, it seems our APB commit Keiland Robinson (from MD) might flip there. That might be why there's some chatter that Bama may be recruiting Gray again.

No way?

Clearly not coming back?

Why so absolute kb?

Another year with Fitz will certainly help... To what degree, that's the unknown.

As for Smith, I think it's unlikely as well. But there's been no "hard no" on the matter as of yet, so it's possible.

Even if Smith comes back, we don't know if it will be for long, since the problem could recur. Personally, I don't mind just forgetting about him playing, and seeing him take care of his health and education.

that's fine, and like i said, i think he's probably done too. serious issue, and if it can't be managed, he shouldn't play....i'm not really counting on him to be able to come back either. that doesnt' mean it's "clear" he's not. it's just my opinion.

Not sure how that’s a good OL at all. Same guys as this year....only without Smith since he’s clearly not coming back....and adding a true freshman or two. Don’t see anyway our OL is worth a damn yet again next year.

I expect improvement. As I have said before, the fact that so many of the OL missed spring and/or fall camps due to off-season rehab, including missing much of the summer S&Cing, really set the OL back, so that a lot of those guys didn't get to work much, if any, on fundamentals before the season began. I am not aware of many guys that won't be ready for 2019 spring practice and S&Cing, so that in itself is huge for that group. Plus with most everyone participating in camps they will spend more time working together and getting comfortable working together, which will help with communication, which was a huge problem this past season, as was obvious with guys so often blocking the wrong guys.

The OL will be older, stronger, better trained, and more familiar with each other next season, so there are plenty of reasons for me to assume the OL will be improved. Doesn't mean I think they will be one of the top OLs in the SEC next sesaon, but I do expect the OL to take a significant step up.

Agree 100% as much as it hurts to lose him he shouldn’t endanger his health for football, he’s a bright kid and will be a success in whatever he does
