'24 TN WR Amari Jefferson (Alabama commit)

Yeah. He’s crazy crazy athletic. Better ball skills than CP. not quite the speed but who on earth does have that outside Hyatt

If we land Wingo it’s the best WR class and nothing is close.

For sure, CP was and still is a horrible route runner. Exactly why Author Smith in Atlanta moved him to RB and he's thrived. No clue if this is true, but there's always been rumors that he has a learning disability and has a hard time picking things up. May or may not be true, but route running and elite WR skills he's never mastered. Just elite speed and a great athlete.

Good grief. Some of you guys are absolutely ridiculous. Warren didn't mention Amari Jefferson at all. AP asked a question about Boo Carter connecting well with all the recruits, and AP actually referenced Amari Jefferson's name amongst many others players. Your interpretation of that is that AP let the cat out of the bag with Jefferson? Get real.
What triggers you is weird.

I just can’t bring myself to stress ab this one. We are loaded at WR and that’s not slowing down. It would be cool to have him but I don’t really care.

Go play for offensive mastermind that is Tommy Rees, I’m sure that’ll go great 😂

We have no idea if we’ll be loaded at WR by the time amari is a 3rd yr player though. Our current core isn’t relevant.

I said it wasn’t going to be popular. But when he shoots up the recruiting rankings don’t say it’s just a bama bump (if that’s where he commits). He’s just really good. But I’m very happy with the guys we have, our coaches know how to identify talent.

He will not play in Baylor's scrimmage against Cleveland tonight and leaves for Hoover for a baseball event that ends on his commitment day

I'm always going to be sad when we miss out on targets because I want what the coaches want. You just know Heupel is like "Man, what this guy could do in this offense..." And I just want to see Heup put his dream offense on the field. So, whatever his top targets are, that's who I want. I want to see what this team can do when he has it exactly as he wants it.
