The studies are 4 years apart to see if the 18 year olds were accurately ranked coming out of HS. NOT this years HS vs THIS years college.
If this years draft had 20 from Texas but had 40 top 300 4 years earlier they were mis-evaluated.
You are missing it. Take Tillman. He was barely a 3* coming out of HS. His draft projection was likely undrafted. 4 years later he goes in the third round after college level coaching. Does that mean he was Mia-evaluated? No. It means at the time he wasn’t that good. But after college coaching he became much better. There is no way to legitimately go by what you are saying to see if recruits were accurately ranked coming out of HS. The only way you could do that is if every player was developed buy the exact same coaching staff.
Eh we have several better than Amari Jeffersons on our baseball roster. His pathway to PT on our baseball team is much much smaller than at Bama. That’s no slight to him that’s just the current state of where our baseball program is. Alex Stanwich who was a top 150 type prospect in the 2022 draft just transferred because he didn’t have a pathway to the field.Stupid if true. TV has only taken his team to the CWS twice in the past 3 years. This should be a no contest.

I feel like he doesn’t play baseball very long. I’ll be surprised if Saban lets him continue with it if he’s worth anything on the football field.Eh we have several better than Amari Jeffersons on our baseball roster. ,,, and who do they think they're kidding? Like nobody saw it? Everyone knows that he is going to announce his commitment to Alabama tomorrow. Is it really that big a deal? They act like they are safeguarding a trade secret or something.Question. What’s up with recruits being able to get them to take their crystal balls down? Kinda defeats the whole purpose.
