It's not about Amari. it's the fact that we lost a kid we should've been able to get to Bama that has the opportunity to be a significant factor there. Amari is very good, he just has only been really on rankings/schools radar's relatively recently. There is a reason we had him in our big three. In a vacuum, it isn't a major problem, but recruiting is the definition grey in black and whiteI’m not shedding any tears over this one.
And I certainly wouldn’t trade him for Mike Mathews. Or a Wingo.
If this kid wasn’t in state, if he was from Nevada or Maryland? Would anyone care?
After Wingo, finish filling out this class with linemen. Especially on the offensive side. This offense works best when we run successfully between the tackles forcing the opponent to rotate extra defenders into the box.
The QBs and WRs get the attention but it all starts in the trenches.
Tennessee doesn’t beat Alabama last season without Darnell Wright shutting down Will Anderson. And we will not beat Georgia until we can run against their D consistently. Get the big uglies
Not to mention it wouldn’t hurt with his fellow highly rated teammate in the ‘25 class. But I’m guessing most people don’t even know that he exists yet. It's not about Amari. it's the fact that we lost a kid we should've been able to get to Bama that has the opportunity to be a significant factor there. Bama has been stacking classes for 15 years. I'm not sure if this is his dad or not but he's eyeballing that Tennessee hat.

Obviously I don’t know you either . Maybe I misunderstood your original reply to me bc I didn’t reply to you. And I wasn’t talking to you in that reply I was responding to AVR. I wasn’t keeping up with what you and him were taking about, I didn’t even notice that y’all were going back and forth till just now. I just want to keep the instate guys our coaches really want in orange. I’m really not sure what the problem is.I don’t know. You jumped in. You got anything else to update us on?
Ok then. Go Vols.Obviously I don’t know you either . Maybe I misunderstood your original reply to me bc I didn’t reply to you. And I wasn’t talking to you in that reply I was responding to AVR. I bet our wide receivers have better stats than this guy. He's going to a team where the head coach has stated he wants a more ball control. His offensive coordinator is about as boring as it gets.
Edit to add that TN qbs are far superior to what Bama has on the horizon. He got conned by the master con man.
Good luck to him at bama (except against us). Really wanted this young man to be a Vol but it is what it is. Hopefully we are able to bring in at least one more high quality receiver in this class.
