'25 TN WR Cameron Sparks

This thread is going to get interesting as the season goes along.

Because his NEW teammate is Joakim Dodson.

Let's see who is more productive this season.
Sparks or Dodson.

Many of you all are counting Sparks out too quickly. If he wises up , he'll be a hot prospect again.

This dude could be what we had with Princeton Fant except for 4 years and a faster version.
Dodson will be more productive. Baylor is planning to use him as the next Amari Jefferson. Briggs Cherry also has a much better arm than Whit Muschamp IMO and will be able to capitalize on Dodson's speed and push the ball downfield, especially if they run play action off any of their talented RBs

Very surprised how this one has turned out.

Hopefully he uses it as motivation to get better, or listen to schools about trying another position.

As some have mentioned he's sort of between positions at his size. I would think he could play TE at 230 in todays game and be a good player though. He just needs to bulk up alittle.

Early on I think the teams projected him as LB. IDK if he was against that or things have changed and teams just don't like his game at all anymore. But I would like to know.

This one not over. If kid has a breakout year which he very well could TN will be front runner and take.
I hope he does, but it seems there’s some misalignment with his potential vs what he believes he actually is.

Cool that they brought in Dodson, but if Sparks were such a dynamic WR, they could have just used him in that role??

He’s like the 4th option on Baylors offense.

He got some very bad advice about how to handle his recruitment and misplayed it with a bunch of schools. I think this ship has probably sailed
Unfortunate for him.

What was the advice? Or rather, how exactly did he handle his recruitment? Would love to see him shed the handler and sign with a big time school. Seems a talented player.

Edit: beginning of thread notes he’s an NPA kid. Telling.

So a 4 star player is getting passed on by most several big time schools?

Sounds like the recruiting services screwed up their evaluations.
I wouldn’t say that. He’s been a top recruit for a long time. He was big time for an underclassman in relation to his peers. I guess he didn’t ball out enough as a Junior and IIRC he didn’t travel in the offseason
