I think Hyatt needs to really really hit the weight room and have someone shoving food in face every hour l/other hour.

If we pursued, sure. But we’re full at the position with kids who better suite our system.

If we were full we wouldn't be pursuing CJ Smith. Not saying we pursue Horton, but it is definitely possible for us to add another WR whether that is another recruit or a transfer

CJ smith is better suited for this offense too.

Marley has apparently been injured all season from reports. Our WR room isn't as deep as some would assume. We could try the portal again in the spring, but what will be there is a major unknown.

I'm still not 100% on how that extra 7 for transfers works. The way it is written is a little confusing. I don't know if it has to do with when someone enters the portal, when they actually leave, or if they have to land at another school.

Those all left before the start of fall semester. They had to be enrolled this fall to credit towards and extra recruiting spot

The problem is they have to actually land somewhere. If they don't due to grades, medical, or just flaming out then you don't get the extra spot.

Actually I may have been wrong on that. I believe they have to be academically eligible to land somewhere. Take Tiyon for instance. If he doesn't have the grades to go to another school then we can't get his spot back

Tee is one that I forgot. Fils-aime wasn't even on the roster. He won't count.

Not sure about Tennessee's numbers, but you can replace 7 guys who portaled out without counting them towards the 25. Any additional transfers you take beyond the 7 count towards the 25. But you can only take as many players as you lost "up to 7."

I understand that part. It's the qualifications of said transfers that allow them to count that's unclear. Do they have to land somewhere else or simply be academically eligible to play elsewhere? Does date that they entered the portal matter?
