No, the argument there is they lucked into those WRs who were already mature juniors / seniors. Try again…They put up video game numbers and they weren't even "their guys". Do you like proving the other side of your argument or do you just have no clue what you are talking about? I would believe either.

I don’t think the issues were with WR under Pruitt.. obviously it was #2 and the scheme. LolSo Pruitt's crack team of McDonald's bag delivery boyz new more about wide receiver talent and was able to recruit amazing players and then do nothing with them for years only to have CJH come in and turn them into beasts in a year but you are questioning their ability to spot and recruit WR talent?

Yet they took Cedric Tillman, who was rated worse than Spillman IIRC when he cam here, and turned him into a stud. They didn’t recruit any of the kids we put up video game #s with. Payton is the exception

Cedric Tillman, Tennessee, Wide Receiver (247sports.com)
Cedric was a .8255 3*.
You seem to have enough info to have an opinion.Yeah, because UGA’s and Bama’s classes are filled with borderline 2/3*s…
I’d hope for higher ranked WRs jumping on board especially with the #s our guys just put up. What gives? Hopefully Nico commits and few higher rated WRs jump on board and follow him. We have to increase the talent level.
I said it earlier……he is worth the risk. He has a super talented QB on his hs team, so he will probably rise in the rankings …..and his brother will be a highly rated player in the ‘24 class. It’s a win/win.Eh.. maybe at other positions we can afford to take risks … but kids like this… at WR? To me this is the #1 position where we should have top kids lining up to come play. I don’t get this one.
