You seem to have enough info to have an opinion.
Break it down:
What are his strengths and weaknesses?
Give an actual assessment of his talent.
I seem to remember you giving the same opinion about "Squirrel" White. Low 3 star...
Ended as a high 4 star that National Champion UGA fought tooth and nail to TRY and get from us in the end.
Give us the breakdown....
Yep, worse case scenario you flip him to safety and now you have elite frame and speed in the defensive backfield. But two things here in taking this kid, you get his difference making younger brother(see Elijah Herring) and you get in on a blossoming HS program that are about to start pumping out college prospects by the dozens each class. His little brother and the corner in the '24 class is likely a guarantee now.Very Athletic Fast player who is really tough minded but yes raw. Alot to like here. The same people on here downing his ranking were disappointed when Naylor decided to transfer to Texas not Tn even though he was a lowly recruit out of high-school. In CHRIST Alone
The guy replied too…. Acknowledged that Heup did well with the talent he inherited but there was no proof he could identify those guys himself…. I don’t agree with that poster’s assessment. No ****, Sherlock. But the point remains. Heupel took a crappily rated WR and made him a stud. It's not about who recruited him, it's about ratings. Tillman certainly didn't play like a low-rated 3*WR last year.
Whatever it is, it's not just ratings. He only has 3 offers and we are the lone P5 offer. Maybe he's still developing? Guess we'll see in the coming year how he progresses. His ability to develop long-term, plus his brother, make this seem reasonable.wonder why this kid isn't rated/ranked higher? What's the holdback?
Warning… you are about to get absolutely flamed for pointing out the offers!Whatever it is, it's not just ratings. He only has 3 offers and we are the lone P5 offer. Maybe he's still developing? Glad we beat out Butch Jones at Ark State and Marshall for this blue chip WR! We’re back baby!
