These threads scolding fans for venting their frustration about our 1st quarter performance is quite stupid. It’s easy after the fact to act like you knew the outcome all along. We played like trash early but I’m glad we won.

You can't be serious? Offense played it best game of SEC play. Completely dominated a good Vandy defense. We gave up 14 quick points then fought back and controlled the game. Nico was lights out and our ground attack shredded Vandy. Not sure what game you watched? Defense was stout besides the prevent defense touchdown.

Negavols were having a field day for sure. They put their headsets on and called each other to hurry up to the thread. they did finger excercises, wiped down their keyboards, locked their moms basement door and told her to hold off on meatloaf in preparation for a long day and night of unleashing their drivel. Unfortunately for them after the second quarter they were all retreating to their safe spaces and heading to play Fortnite.

It was awful. But we also weren’t playing that great so I kind of understand it. My worst memory as a Vol fan is losing to Vandy in 2016 with SECCG game on the line. I think Kamara ran out of bounds on a 4th down or something. So I dont blame VN for being a bit tight.

Well, I think it would be more accurate to say the start, which looked like they were not ready to play, would normally get you beat in the 1st round of the playoffs. You can recover from a start like that against Candy, but it is much more difficult to recover from a poor start like that against a competetive team.

No. Undisciplined play after this many weeks of “maybe we’ll fix it next week”. We are an undisciplined football team. Stats can be misleading. We play ugly as hell week after week.
