False. Its where the ball left his hand to where it landed. Not where he was sitting. I cant imagine how upset you were if you actually thought where his body was positioned had any relevance.

That is like the person that thinks it matters where the feet are, as to the chalk, in baseball. It only matters where the ball is.

why don't you look at that again and tell me where his hand was when he released the ball and where the ball struck the ground?

Ok ... let's see. Hand releases the ball beyond the 43, ball hits the 43.

Ergo, forward pass.

In fact, the more I look at it using BOP's standard, the clearer it is that it was forward.

the ball actually curved backwards as it fell. are you looking at where it landed or where it was when it came out of his hand?

It was a lateral. Lucky as hell that it bounced straight up . . . but definitely a lateral. Ball comes out of his hand at the 43. Ball lands with the tip touching the 43.

Both. When it left his hand he, the ball, and his hand were all to the left of the 43 yard line. When it hits the ground, it is even with the 43 yard line.

This. It did not go forward.

What is sad is that people here are so blinded by their envy of Florida that they will just fabricate facts to justify it. If you are objective about it, it is a forward pass.

I could give two shats about the dang outcome of any of your games except when we play you........I was a football official for 15 years......you are dead wrong

Wrong. Watch as the ball is released you can actually see the tip of the ball hanging barely over the edge of the 43 yard hash mark

Ball does not hit the 43.

This is karma LG. Plenty of times when folks here thought we were screwed by the refs and you chimed in with a different opinion. If I were you, I'd let go. Plus it wasn't a forward pass.

Its actually pretty clear that he released it just behind the 43 and it lands just behind the 43. But regardless are you actually crying about this? You really thought they should overturn this call. What a little crybaby b****

Wait, that doesn't make any sense.

Let's say you are right and the tip of the ball is just over the 43. When it hits, the ball is firmly over the 43. Let's say just smack dab on it with half of the ball over it and half behind it.

If that is so, then it is a forward pass. You don't get an extra length of the ball to play with there. Just because the tip is on the 43 doesn't mean you get to throw it forward by the length oif the ball and still call it a backward pass.
