A team that has about the same number of players in the NFL as Oregon. A team that has 5 fewer NFL Hall of Famers than Oregon.

You win a single big game - last year - and all of a sudden you're going to pound your chest and talk crap about Oregon on a Tennessee website, of all places? Talking as if you already belong to the conference that your team needed WAY more than it needed you. Talking as if you've conrtibuted to the SEC prestige in the slightest.
I've been a college football fan for a while; and guess how many big Texas A&M moments I can recall from the last 15 years? Two - both of which occured last year, being your 'Bama win and your Heisman win.

I'm fine with talking crap. And I don't mind general yapping from teams like LSU, Alabama, Stanford, etc. They've earned that right and I respect their accomplisments and teams in these last few years.

But cool story. Flame on.

Four BCS bowls in a row and counting.
Five 10 win seasons in a row and counting.
One losing season since 1993.

You can have your team. I'm quite comfortable with mine. And as a college football fan, if you are in the slightest, you better hope for a UO-UA game. Because it would be awesome. Go Ducks, and go Vols!

Thanks y'all. Seriously though, it was all in good fun. I don't mind when some teams sling a little mud - if it's still done with respect. That's what sports is all about. But I'm not about to let a Texas A and effing M fan roll onto Vols site and call out the Ducks like they've, ya know, done anything. Can't wait until Johnny Football ditches that Negative-1 Horse Town and a black hole named De'Anthony Supernova Warpspeed swallows that pit and we never have to hear from them again.

A&M football to UK basketball isn't "equal ground".

A&M football has 1 "claimed" national title in 1917, a 60% winning record, and 18 conference titles.

UK basketball has 8 national titles (1 two years ago), a 76% winning record, and 47 conference titles.

You're right. Tip of the hat. My assumption was fan base and following. I'm not daring to compare basketball programs. We suck at round ball.
