To hell with tee!

Come on, man. Laugh a little, it's good for the soul. This Tee thing just isn't worth a 10th of the grief you're making it out to be. Nobody died from anything he did or said. The cool thing would be for Jalen to play like we believe he can and GASP! win the Heisman!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Squirrel away the first Heisman by a Vol!!!

Dude, it's just a topic on a message board. Nobody's losing sleep over it. Just like any other topic... click on the link, take a minute to give an honest opinion.... post that it was a classless, sophomoric thing for Tee to say, then check out the recruiting threads.... nothing more, nothing less.

Agree with you on Jalen.... hope the kid burns a little more because of the comment and has a great freshman year.

That my man, is exactly what I did. Didn't you notice?
T'were an opinion just like youse. Only diffense wah mah riting stile. Ummm-hmmm. uhhh-huhhhh :hi:

and yet to the person , almost all still worship Manning over Tee....

That's what I was thinking. Over the years I've used Tee as a trivia question. Name the QB of UT's NC team. Almost to a person they answer Peyton Manning. Does Tee have a street named after him on campus? If not he should, IMHO.

Ok according to some on Volnation, we won the NC despite Tee Martin and Phillip Fulmer. Who's next Peerless Price or Al Wilson? Geez, I am totally amazed. Can we just chalk the 90's up as a fluke? Come on MAN!!!!!!!!!

Goofiest thread I've seen in awhile. Tee has a street and a lot of fans who appreciate his two years as starting qb despite him publicly spurning a job offer to come back here and help rebuild the program and instead going to work for the guy who poured gasoline on our dumpster fire. It's a mixed bag.

Against criticism a man can neither protest nor defend himself; he must act in spite of it, and then it will gradually yield to him.--Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749 - 1832)--

He made the remark because in his opinion, after being injured in the first game of his senior season, Jalen Hurd has not played one snap in a real game (possibly even practice) and has been rehabbing. He has NO senior season highlight reels to evaluate him. As a player, right now, at this time, he IS "soft". If I were to make a list of all of this years recruits; those who finished their HS career without injury would be "hard". Those who were injured would be "soft".
Interesting comment. If a player gets hurt and has to rehab, he's soft. I really don't think T was calling him soft because he missed his senior season for shoulder surgery.
