To the flagpole this morning

My point was made almost exclusively pointing to the neocon agenda and that a lot of America was not happy with the spending or the results.
it was actually the slew of liberal style spending where this admin utterly failed. Crap like the prescription drug plan, which is massively expensive and was pure vote buying, is where I have the huge problems.

Wasn't it the Dems who were really in power anyway since the last election?

Did they not "approve" all the "atrocities" that Bush committed?

Fixed rate 15 year term max or you can't afford it is my personal rule on that.

Good for you. Wife is a realtor so I understand the business too, somewhat. To reiterate, I don't agree with his "spread the wealth". Still think the flag is a bit over the top but we'll see.

Yes Democrats have had marginal control over the Congress for the last 2 years. Bush's "atrocities" extend WELL into the first 6 that were Republican majority & President.

Things really took a downturn when Pelosi and Reid had their thumb on our problems though didn't they?

We'll have this same argument but vice versa in a couple years when the democratic controlled government has made their own fair share of blunders. Just a matter of time.

No, he certainly won't be like Carter. He will be exponentially worse.

Care to take me on the time machine with you? Otherwise, give the man a chance. Jesus some of you whine more than anyone else I've ever talked to. You don't like who the leader is, feel free to move to Mexico or Russia where you can see your precious little Governor in her $150,000 outfits.

We can have this discussion in 4 years when we all KNOW, not THINK has happened in the United States.

Neither is Jimmy Carter.....

McCain has a record of being a bipartisan politician, who disagreed on important aspects of Bush's policies.

Obama is a very partisan politician with strong socialist principals in his background. In a lot of ways like Carter.

You tell me which comparison holds more water?

Oh so he started the war alone? My bad.

Essentially yes, what he did was unconstitutional so he went to congress and got that changed. Congress gave him unlimited power to start this war and contrary to what ALL politicians said during the campaigns this was not a popular decision for them to make, case in point Barack Obama.

Where you telling those on the left to do the same up until a couple of years ago?

If you don't like who your leader is and you can't stand it, leave. No one is forcing a gun to your head no matter who the president is.
