In my opinion, a person's voting record is a lot more telling than broad philosophies like liberal, socialist, and conservative. I understand how you can disagree with it, but I do think my comparison is accurate.

But seriously, it's hard to get a telling voting record on a guy who has only barely worked over 130 days in the past 3 years.

In 2007. He did this to gain support from the right, thinking he needed to do so to rally their support (big mistake IMO).

If your going to make posts such as this at least put it in context.

Bottom line is he is a very different animal than Bush altogether, objective thinkers would quickly agree, despite their political leanings.

Carter and Obama are different political animals as well. Carter is the closest thing we have to compare Obama to. The difference between them that I can tell is that Obama has a much deeper set of socialist values ingrained in him than did Carter.

That was a real intelligent response...you should be supporting our new president instead of being negative towards him and the people that voted for him.As long as you don't make over $200,000 then his presidency should not effect you.

I hung my flag upside down last night just before the enivitable happened. I intend on it staying that way with the exception of holidays for the next four years. Mr Obama will not "change" that.

I did not vote (for reasons I have already stated) and I most certainly do have the right to complain about it.

I can also understand why some would choose to sit out instead of voting for what they consider to be the lesser of two evils. As long as we let them both parties will continue to offer up garbage and politics as usual will continue until they run this country into the ground or the people get fed up and take it back.

I am not in the least negative towards him.
I voted for Obama. I believe he is the best chance this country has for improving its lot at this time.

My post was referencing a response that I got the other day from stating disagreement with a pitchfork waver. He responded with a post about treason & executions...
