Very good pick up. Would love to see Bates and the Berry twins add to the momentum. Early commits normally make me nervous, but I like the fact 2 of our 3 commits are legacy recruits. Definately makes me feel more confident(not 100% but more than average) that they'll stick.

This is the best start of a recruiting season I can remember and I have been watching Tennessee football since 1946. I am very excited and expect big things on the field and in the recruiting for the next 15-20 years. Happy days are here again and will stay for years.

Also, this is called the reality of football. This is results, not speculation. Sure, nothing is official until NSD, but CBJ and staff got this young man to commit. I have no problem giving him props for that. If he delivers results on the field this year, I will gladly acknowledge that as well. But between our past two coaches, I am no longer blindly putting faith in a coach. Results are what will win me over. Today is a good day.

I'm hoping for a good year too, but I'm gonna have to see it to be all in. I like today's commitment. I think it's a big feather in the cap for this staff. I also think this is a great year for them to be starting as there are several Vol legacies that we pretty much have an early edge on. If we sign those guys and some other talent, we have a big class this year and it gives us momentum toward the future. Hopefully all the dominoes fall just right and we see UT's luck finally change.

I love the talent level of Kelly and some of these other kids we are after. I'm even more impressed with their families and the type of character they seem to have. Hopefully we will see less wash out with them. This is fantastic news!
