Tom Brady Epic Fail

Yeah. He's soooo good that Matt Cassell stepped in with little problem, in that system. Good luck with that.

Tom Brady lead team - 16-0
Matt Cassell lead team - 11-5

Yea, 5 losses is a "little" problem. But hell, if Peyton was to get injured, I'm sure Sorgi could lead all those big talented receivers to an 11-5 record as well.

Peyton was injured. Or didn't you notice that he won the MVP despite that little fact?

Remind me again how many MVP's Brady has.

Remind me how the MVP is a subjective award voted on by sportswriters, not by anyone else but them. Remind me how Tom Brady did this year. Oh wait, he couldn't play to challenge Manning.

And Peyton Manning's "injury" was with his bersa sac(k). It's a small filled sac that provides cushoning between bones and tendons. An infected bursa sac can be cleared up easily more than most people think.

Brady is the better QB, but he's benefited greatly by having better defenses than Peyton.

Where's your medical degree from? I assume you've obviously examined Petyon personally to be so familiar with his case.

Hysterical.

I suppose that would be this year, correct. He has Freeney and Bob Sanders. It's not like there's 0 talent on the defensive side of the Colts.

It wasn't this year, but it was a year those guys were around. The Colts have a defense that's decently designed to slow down the pass. Which is nice when the offense has a lead. Otherwise, teams just run all over them.

Yes, but then again, the Colts have a lead more often than not.

I also don't buy the idea that Brady never had talent. The wide receivers haven't been all-world, but they've been solid. (Plus, Marvin Harrison calls in sick during the playoffs.) The Patriots OL, however, has always been one of the best in the league at protecting the passer. Ben Watson is good, and Kevin Faulk is one of the best receiving backs in the league. Corey Dillon was a stud for the short time he was in NE.

No doubt about the Pats O-Line. It's been one of the best in football over this decade. The backs have been nothing spectacular until Lawrence Maroney got there, but they were solid, like you have said. But you gotta say that Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Stokely >> Troy Brown, Deion Branch, and whoever else there was back during the mid part of the decade.

Brandon Stokely hasn't been much better than Deion Branch when he's separated from Manning. Corey Dillon led the league in rushing one year, I believe.

In all fairness, Deion Branch was the Super Bowl XXXIX MVP.

Peyton's had talent surround him his whole career. Brady has only had really good receivers for about 2 years, and he was out this year.

That's just a bad argument and doesn't hold water at all if you look at the stats from before/after Peyton with those receivers. But don't let facts get in the way of your argument.

1) You can thank the defense for that. Plus if Cassel had more of the 1st team snaps in preseason (no way of knowing obviously) they would of easily made the playoffs. They wouldn't of had to go through the rough transition period.

2) That's hilarious.

Any person who thinks the Colts teams are overall better than the Pats should stop watching football.

You have no proof that he couldn't do it. None.
