I always liked Tony because he just said what he felt and it was nice to hear a real fan speak.

He'll be around. He may go internet only, but he was building a studio in his house so I'm fairly confident he will find a way.

Im sure he will. Just sucks that I'll have to use a seperate app for my listening needs.

This sucks. I hope he goes the podcast route -- or gets on a station where he's in drive time. Since he's been doing lunchtime, I haven't been able to listen. He needs a daily podcast via iTunes.

Enjoy his show...most of the time...guy loves basketball more than the other hosts on TSR and his relentless BUY OUT THE OREGON GAME...WE'RE GOING TO GET KILLED kick got old five minutes after he started it....but I relate to him and I like his interaction with callers so in all I think Jaybay is effing up royally on this one...I'll keep listening though

I say thank God and Greyhound he's gone! Sorry but the guy annoys me to know end and his show is never that entertaining.

I went on a trip to the NCAA tourney with Basilio the first year Pearl was our coach, and the guy is pure entertainment. We had to bare through the Duke game before our game, and Tony B was in George Washingtons college section cheering against them with a GW foam hat on while wearing all UT gear. I have to admit I chuckled a lil.

Got to hang out with him a little bit at the TSR tailgate before the NC State game, walked with him to and from the game. He was actually a very nice guy, didn't seem like the kind of guy he's made out to be, but to each his own. I wish him well.

Speaking of which what ever happened to Double A. He was just gone one day and no one said anything about it.

I'm disappointed that he'll be off TSR. Tony buys his own air time so I suppose TSR didn't want to renew the agreement, which they have every right to do.

I really think Tony's show is the most entertaining in the Knoxville market. I'm not someone that looks to sports talk radio as my primary news source. It's entertainment. The people that listen to the snooze on the Sports Animal and think it's good sports radio haven't listened to very much sports radio outside the Knoxville market. I don't know that I've heard a drier, less compelling lineup than what is on the Sports Animal. It's like watching paint dry listening to that station. And there's no worse show on sports radio than Doc, Jeff and Heather. That show is atrocious.

But hopefully Tony gets picked up somewhere else. Maybe 850am perhaps? He might be on-line only for a period.

Tony was the voice of the common fan. He may be a bit nutty, but at least he has personality, unless guys like Hyams who has the personality of drywall.

Come on you can't tell me Tony's show was better than the Ainge or Swain show or even Treece for that matter.

I didn't listen to him much but his show never seemed as informative to me the way the other TSR shows are.

A lot of people around here like to be spoon fed and lectured to about sports for some reason. It is why pri*ks like Hyams, Doc and the "Vol Network" gang get by. I can't imagine those guys making it in other SEC markets. Tony B. has always been the best radio around here in my opinion.
