Come on you can't tell me Tony's show was better than the Ainge or Swain show or even Treece for that matter.
I didn't listen to him much but his show never seemed as informative to me the way the other TSR shows are.
Basilio never prepared for a show and brought very little insight to anything. His shows normally consisted of attacking a UT coach and then letting the same 8 or 9 callers call in and agree with his madness. Good riddance to the Dollywood of Sports Talk.
Explain? Running down contests? This news is so next level! Nothing against Tony and I wish him well moving forward. Since discovering the app last fall, I gave them all a chance, but after a couple of months, I couldn't handle Tony's shtick. It's really bad radio.
Station wise, they can't be running one big promotion 10 hours a day and have the mid-day guy running his own contests.
Good move, Jay-Bay.
Maybe he can shoot doc, jeff, and heather out of the saddle and replace that joke of a show on the Sports Animal.
Not going to happen. Want to know why? Not only does doc host that show, but he's the Program Director for the entire station! Which means, and I can guarantee you this, Doc, Jeff, Hyams, and Henderson will be on-air until they decide to retire. I know this for sure.
