Just FYI - Tony Dungy's book is one of the Top 3 memoir's I have ever read. Highly suggest it.

Nice guy. I believe most of them already knew he was leaving, not really surprising. Might pull a cowher and come back in a few years. Recharge the battery's.

As a Colts and Vols fan. We will never see the likes of a Tony Dungy again. His class and the things he has meant to the community here in Indy will be greatly missed.

Thank you, Tony, for not only your coaching success, but for the class and dignity that you brought to the game!

I admire him...and all that he has stood for.

"Quiet Strength" is a book worth reading.

I wish him the best of luck.

Who in the world are they going to get to replace him? 10 smokey dogs says Phil's on a plane to Indy right now. :p

If I were a Colts fan I'd probably be glad to see him go. Considering the teams he's had, a 9-10 record in the postseason is terrible.

Dungy is a special man and a credit to pro football--I wish him the best in all his endeavors. As I coach, I can't help but think he was overrated, but I could be wrong---a superficial opinion from afar. But let's face it: Manning has carried the Colts on his back since year his second year with the team; without him, the Colts never have smelled the playoffs. As for Caldwell, I'm not sure why Polian is so enamored with the guy--who had a terrible record at Wake in his only head coaching stint and otherwise as been a fairly anonymous assistant for many years.
