Toomer's Corner Poisoned

You're right. Why wouldn't you call someone an ass for saying that Auburn's bird is silly on a Tennessee board. Makes perfect sense.

How assinine of me to call someone an ass for being... well.... an ass. I will admit that i'm not above being one myself from time to time....

So my point is valid. Bird, tree, tiger, dog... It isn't important what the symbol of scholl pride/identity is. Somebody poisoned their trees. And yes, what some other schools fan thinks about Smokey bothers me not one whit, so long as they don't Decide to do anything about it.

And I have yet to say one bad thing about their trees. So you don't care what people think of Smokey, but you do care what people think of Auburn's bird?

Wonder if anyone's tune would change if someone managed to kill our silly little dog or pull up next to our silly little torchbearer in a truck, throw a silly little logging chain around ut and pull it down. Not so silly any more, is it?

I missed where someone killed Auburn's 2nd string mascot

Hmmmmm.... You got me there.... As of today though, no one has killed/damaged any of Tennessee's traditional symbols. Auburn has had the trees that have been a part of victory celebrations for generations poisoned. It just didn't seem lime a good time to be twisting the knife.

Finebaum is on Tony Barnhardt's show now saying Auburn police will be making an announcement of arrest around 1:00 pm. Apparently there is concern that the poison has gotten into the ground water supply. If so the person responsible is looking at serious prison time.

The herbicide isn't toxic to humans.
