Get Real. I watched a segment on Dateline Sunday night about a woman accused of killing her husband in Savannah Tn. You don't even want to talk about "redneck" and backward places.

Sure I do. All I have to do is look at places like Dadeville, Alabama and I'm set. I've been to some backward places in Tennessee, but nowhere is like where I've been in Mississippi and Alabama.

And since when did a murder make a place backward? They happen everywhere.

You ever been to Parsons, Perryville, Selmer,Savannah, they speak a different language. It is so country and backward, I try to make it to Jackson,Tn. if I need to stop for anything. At least I can understand what is being said. Murder wasn't what made it backward, it was listening to the locals speaking.

Wait a minute, have you ever heard any audio clips of your man Bryant talk? He sounds like a old farmer sitting at the hardware store playing checkers!! Hell I can sit in front of the hardware store and talk to an old farmer and understand every word he says!! Your probably one of those uppity cats that talks like a fake azz Californian!!

You are the one you called a whole state redneck. Its not so much the accent as the poor grammar and usage of the English language. You talk like tn is located in another section of the country. I have been there and there are many very remote, backward, redneck areas, but not the whole state.

And yes, I did laugh at the situation. I still the think dude is a moron, and a criminal. He should get as many years as the law will allow in order to set an example to any other idiots who might get big ideas.

And there is one area in Alabama that isn't redneck, and that's Birmingham, and only barely.

There is a difference between a Southern accent, and backward, uneducated, language. Maybe it is just west tn, and those who live around the tn river in that area.
