You guys are upset, but really should see it as a compliment of sorts. Clay gets most of his material, and apparently site hits, from VN. I'm more surprised VN isn't listed as a "source" for most of his rants, than by anything he says.

My family is all over Trezvant, Atwood, Milan, Jackson and Huntingdon. I'm over there way more than I want to be. :)

Like I said, I'm not saying I've done scientific polling. Just reporting what I see at Walmart.

You are kinda proving his point. This is a list. We are ten out of ten. He is not singling us out. He says in our write up that Alabama is worse by far.

I know good and well that most of the things from his description don't fit me. However, I can also read it and see a lot of stuff I've either read on here or seen in person from other UT fans. That's why it made me laugh, because even though his stereotype is over the top and simply the sum of stuff we see from a lot of different Vol fans, there was also a nugget of truth to it as well.

not any more than any other fanbase in the south. Only reason it gets to this point is because he claims to be a UT fan yet constantly takes shots at them. All of it is based on location and is for clicks. I just don't think people like that should be celebrated in any way

Basketball is big in Memphis and University of Memphis basketball is big in Metro schools and neighborhoods. That doesn't lead to many UT lovers, I promise. Most of your UT fans are going to be in the suburbs.

This thread is like 95% made up of people making the same exact statement over and over again. "We shouldn't be upset about it. We're giving Clay exactly what he wants." We get it. Its not a big freakin deal. But you're the idiots that filled this thread up nearly 10 pages long, not the people actually complaining (I think I could count them on one hand). Give it a rest your opinions have been noted.
