Funny, but mostly true. Our most ignorant fans (mostly the die hard Doolanders) on here do a lot of this. Candy, gators, UGA, the ESPN, Clay Travis, James Franklin, Kiffin obsession/hate. A lot of salient points in the article.

I always picture a stereotypical southern man in his late 30s to early 50s, who always wears a UT hat, has an extreme southern accent, who probably knows more about incoming recruits than he does about his own kids (if he actually has a family). And a person that after you talked to him for about 5 minutes, you'd realize you were now dumber for exposing yourself to that.

I'm not sure why Clay Travis bothers any of you guys. He's just a pot stirring Vanderbilt alumni (although he claims to be a Vol fan). He first got noticed when he asked Tebow about his virginity. We (Tennessee fans) are his favorite target because we fall for his BS every time. Ignore him. Like TIM said....

Clay is just one off color, racist, or homophobic comment on-air away from the end of his career. It's not "IF" it's "WHEN"

he's what happens when the desire for notoriety takes the place of pride in your work. Lots of people make money that way in today's world. It's not a route most respectable people choose but it's an option
