Top 5 Historical Films (sort of) imho

It's not necessarily a historical movie, but Band of Brothers is at the absolute top of my list.

A few other good history based movies that haven't been mentioned are The Patriot, Black Hawk Down and Schindler's List. Also, Gettysburg is a really good, historically accurate movie with the exception of the ridiculous fake beards.

Midway had the best group of actors from starring roles to support roles, from top to bottom of any film. IMO
