In my mind, the UT vs Florida game is too low.

I think the VT/LSU game is number one for other reasons. I don't know who should be number one. I daresay Michigan/Wisconsin.

Disclaimer:
I would put the UF/LSU #1, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions for both teams.

it's about right. LSU/FL/Bama/ are apparenly all expected to be more competitive and have more meaning from a national standpoint(which may not be based on NC potential, but story lines, i.e. Saban coaching against LSU and Auburn) based on what i read in to this list.

and as these games get played out, this list will change week to week......

VT and LSU will be a huge game. i can't wait. i also agree the UT/UF is too low

they probably ranked the UT/UF game lower since the teams don't have the talent that they had compared to previous years.

If OSU hadn't been spanked so hard in the big dance in january, their visit to Southern Cal in 08 would be off the chain. Very dissapointing, because Im looking at the rest of the Trojans games and going zzzzzzzzz, except the visit to NEB. Those people are crazy, basically.

Louisville/WVU is too high. I know these teams have built good programs but that game is not ranking number 4 on my list. You play on Thursday night for a reason.

i'm beginning to wonder if you are actually an SC fan or a troll. You are saying you don't care about the entire pac-10 season? edit: the other thing is you refered to your school as "Southern Cal" which is a HUGE no no and something no self respecting trojan fan would do.

Im saying, I like out of conference games agains teams we dont play that often. I was stoked about the visit to Arkansas last year before we destroyed them. I was disappointed in Miami for turning down a 1 and 1 series against us. See, it gets kinda old JUST dominating the pac 10 year after year sometimes. I wouldnt expect you to understand, seeing as how we're your alpha and omega but to us, you're just another game. So by reading into my statement and making assumptions, it seems you're the troll. :the_finger:

I see so you think saying "southern cal" is ok? Is that what you are saying? Give me your SC pedigree. I want to hear it. I think you are full of it. There isn't a single trojan fan I know who would rank the nebraska game as more important than the UCLA or Cal game (or oregon state and now stanfurd for that matter). Not one.

Yes, those games are more compelling to me. I dont consider you guys "rivals" because the w-l ratio is so lopsided as to be comical. There is some hope for a revenge against UCLA for last year, I am looking forward to that I admit.

But really, as USC fan living in another part of the country, Im more compelled by showing all these anti-PAC 10 idiots that we can go to the SEC and elsewhere and play good. Unlike some squads I can think of.

And I could care less if I line up with how other SC fans are. Most are bandwagoners or rich brats who actually got to that school on their parents dime. I got into USC football when Curtis Conway went there, he played ball at Hawthorne High with my cousin. So for future reference, buzz off. :finger3:

I see. So if you are a fan since Curtis Conway you certainly should remember that UCLA had a 7 game winning streak during that time. Or that Cal had a winning record against you for the 10 years after that. Strange how the in conference games are now "comical." So where were your season tickets? What section? How long did you actually live in LA? You didn't go to USC right? edit: what are of LA did you live in? where did you go after the game? where did you tailgate? let's here it SC man.

How has the pac 10 done against USC in the Pete Carol era, which is what we are still in? I could care less how you gys did when I was 14 man, as if I was stats monkey in high school. Season tickets? I left LA when I was 20 y/o and working at best buy, for chrissakes. And I thought you Cal fans were smart, I said several times I didn't go to USC. My attachment to the team solidified when the Raiders moved back up and they were the only quality football (read not UCLA or Cal) in So Cal. Is that good enough justification for you, or do I still need to validate myself to a guy who follows an embarassment of a football team.

Mods help us. We seem to be debating the autheticity of a USC fan vs the pathetic nature of the Cal program.

The real embarassment is someone claiming to be an expert on the pac-10 and USC who doesn't attend games, didn't go to the university, and doesn't live near the school. And someone who knows so little about the school that he refers to it by a name every trojan fan HATES. I guarentee you i've been to more USC games than you have. I had season tickets to USC football when I was 14 (during the curtis conway era) and I was hardly rich. They were very very cheap. I believe I paid $70 for 5 games. And I only bought them because I loved college football. You are a fraud.

and if you're right, where does that leave us vis a vis UT football?
