and if you're right, where does that leave us vis a vis UT football?

Nothing whatsoever, but i'm sick of this guy. Show me a real fan who has never had season tickets and doesn't attend any games? I have friends in boston who have Cal season tickets. I have Cal season tickets and I live in LA. edit: this guy buys an SC t-shirt on the internet and thinks that makes him a real fan and expert on college football.

some people just flat can't afford to attend games. that hardly diminishes their fervor for their respective teams.

Droski just because he can't afford season tickets doesn't mean hes not a true fan of his team.

I sort of get what Droski is saying. USC along with Notre Dame probably has the largest bandwagon sidewalk alumni of any school out there. They're still fans though . . . just usually more annoying.

college football is not expensive. this isn't the nfl. even SC has $25 tickets for certain sections.
$25 tickets tend to suck. can you imagine jaunting from FL to SC for the nose bleed jobs? how sweet would that be? Mortgage the family trailer (a la NASCAR) for the plane tickets to get to the nosebleed seats to watch SC beat the dog out of one of the remainder of the pathetic PAC 10. Please.

I don't mind him calling himself a fan, i mind him seeing himself as some sort of expert of all things pac-10 and USC. edit: AND when he did live in LA he didn't go to the games. When he WAS in LA SC tickets were easy to find and extremely affordable.

Making up crap as you go along huh? Never said I didnt go to any games. Stated that I didnt have season tickets. Why did you decide to make it personal?

Your frustation, while certainly understandable considering the Bears are nothing but haters, is misdirected. It isn't my fault Cal is an overrated fraud waiting to be exposed again.

Since youre such a college football historian and stats wiz, tell me again how many Rose Bowls and NFL hall of famers Cal has produced vs that of USC? :wavey:

Droski hes a USC fan. Your a Cal fan. Do you really believe your going to get along?

This isn't tenn/bama. The majority of SC/Cal fans have a mutual respect for eachother. Half the people in my office are SC grads.

This is kind of how it is out there. They (Cal, UCLA, UW) hate. We win. Same with Giants vs Dodgers. They get homicidal....we could care less. Just makes them madder. It's a complex.

Ok what is your most memorable pre-pete carroll moment? Surely as a huge SC fan you should have many moments.

ridiculous. Only UCLA hates SC. I dislike USC, but that has zero to do with the last 5 years.

Ya nothings like Tenn- Bama lol. If some of those fans could get a hold on Fulmer, they probably would kill him on the spot.

i dont c y oklahoma vs texas is number two on that list
Primarily because if Texas wins that game and doesn't screw up anywhere along the line there is a very strong chance that the Horns play for the BCSNC.

The game that I personally think is underrated on the list is UF at S.Car. Spurrier is 1-1 vs. Meyer and last year the Cocks led by 6 with 3 minutes left when they god Tebo'd and lost the game by 1 point. I might have a bad case of remote-control finger if this game is played at the same time as UT-Arky.

Easy one. Beating ND in 1996, because they had our number for a very long time. Used to hate the Irish, now, merely pity them.

Maybe I'm cold, but I could care less about the VT-LSU game they have at #1. One of the reasons I watch sports is to escape reality a little bit. Who needs to see that downer, what with all the endless tributes and whatnot before the game. Wanna heal? Play some ball. LSU will pound it out of them.

they broke the streak in 1994. In 1996 SC was 6-6 and this is your most memorable moment?

Notice #5 is USC at Cal, Nov. 10

but to you it's an irrelavant game right?

Except for a couple of years in the late 80s, didn't USC football basically wander in the wilderness for about 20 years after Marcus Allen graduated?
