I guess because of covid she can transfer again. Wouldn't this be her last shot and where she lands is her last destination. I thought you only got one transfer but guess this would be it since the rule came into effect after she had already transferred. I hope it is not again a request to leave as that could make her basketball career over in P5 probably get connected with a Mid Major.

I don't know what the Lady Vol game plan is but we definitely need to hit the portal for at least a couple of players. If we come back with the status quo roster then were not going to be able to advance again in wins or a top finish in the SEC. The goal is to get a little better than you were the year before and by the completion of a new coaching staff's fourth year be back in the National picture both in winning and recruiting. I know a lot of posters won't agree with this, but I think the coaches need to make some hard decisions on the roster. We may need a few players to move on that are not going to help the team in the future. I understand that most of the current players that played a lot this season can and must get better. The big problem with the team is we need at least one more player probably two that can shoot the three at a consistent high percentage. They also need to have an all around game not just an offensive one. We have a couple players on the roster that may be able to advance their games to that level by next season to fill those roles still not a guarantee that any of them can. I for one think we need to hit the portal the players we try to get have to be immediate difference makers otherwise I don't see next season being much better than this one. I know we'll have a better bench and a lot of players with more experience. I think way to many question marks to go into the season depending on players getting a lot better or freshmen playing to a high level to stand pat. We'll see what happens and what the coaching staff decides to do. I know they have to realize that fans expect with each season the team to do better than the last. We did a little better this season than the last and expect we'll have to do better this next season to keep most of the fans happy.

Can a coach pull a scholarship from a player simply because they cannot compete at this level? I know they can suggest a player move on, but some players may be ok with being a practice player with little or no game minutes.

All Scholarships are on a year to year basis. Coaches usually don't have to or want to pull scholarships if your not going to play most players usually decide not to stay.

If Tess can hit the three in games, that would be one thing. But hitting 50 in a row unguarded might show she has a consistent shot, but doesn't prove that she could make those shots under pressure.

We'll find out next season, but money is on Puckett, Wynn and Salary being the main wing bench contributors off the bench.

Well, Jessie didn't shoot the ball in games very well this past season otherwise, she would have got more minutes. I don't know how well she shot in practice but she was in a shooters slump in games. I thought she played fairly well aside from the shooting slump.

They were saying that as a joke. She’s not in the portal or hasn’t stated she’s transferring.

That's the point I was making. If you show you can hit the three in games, then you'll get minutes. Neither Jessie nor Tess were able to do that, so their playing time was limited.

I agree and I believe we should offer C Hall PG from Vanderbilt if she would fit with are team chemistry. I love Walkers Fight on court but overall her scoring and turnovers are not were they need to be to advance in tournaments then Walker would give us 2 at position allowing Horston to work strictly this off-season on her Jumper. In CHRIST Alone

Yes. Courtney Banghart of UNC didn't renew the scholarships of some bench players and Kara Lawson has pulled some scholarships since she has been at Duke.

I think Walker could be better this upcoming year without the knee brace. It’s really hard to do the things you’re used to doing with it on.

I hope she improves i like her toughness and tenacity. She struggled with aggressive small guards who got into her body. In tournament play great guards get you to finals. In CHRIST Alone
