Way too high. She’s an excellent defender but does not being much to the table offensively. If she comes to UT I don’t see her as a starter. I would imagine she would come off the bench for 20-25 minutes as a defensive stopper.

Is she a 2 guard? She averaged 11.4 last year and was conference defensive player of the year. That would be major plus gain at the 2 guard spot for us, if
that is where she plays, which equals starter. She's not going to sign with a school where she wouldn't be a starter.

I heard a while back that we were going to try to get number 12 on the ESPN list. I don't know if that is still true, but she is the kind of player we would want with a lot of years left to play.

I'm worried about taking any more 2 guards who can't shoot 3s. That puts too much pressure on the PG position as the only outside shooting possibility. Or swaping Tess in offense for defense. Top of my wish list is that Rickea becomes just a 5% or so better outside shooter, up into the mid 30s. That would help both her individually and the team as a whole alot. But I really want a 2 guard who can guard, rebound, and shoot 3s. Anyone like that out there?

She didn’t struggle against us or Oregon

look into her stats. that statement is far from the truth…. as many, even darth, has pointed out.

That clause was discussed at length when Wells signed. She did have some of her worse scoring and shooting games against some of the better comp, but also had some of her best games against them, like against Louisville. So it was mixed result. Darth, who is a Wells SuperFan, said the notion was stupid. I'm sure he'll turn up and explain.

The Coulibaly to A&M rumors were last week when they were all following her. Not sure if she visited. Yesterday, TN players and coaches started following her and Coach Sam dropped strong hints about a French speaking visitor, which AC is. Strong possibility she visited here yesterday. Plus Pissiot aburptly decided to leave this late in the portal scramble, probably indicating an incoming was emminent.

I'm a little worried that yesterday turned out not to be the "great day" that Sam promised. Sounded like they thought whoever visited was going to commit and apparently it didn't happen.
