Would make no sense for Coulibaly to go there but you never know. A&M will be a bottom dweller again. Joni can’t coach and does not develop players. She’s got nice style and is friendly which gets her commitments.

They were horrendous this season though. Being a new coach isn’t a good excuse anymore. Coach Mulkey got that title in year 2 and Coach Abe had UGA playing better than they ever did under Joni.

Respectfully disagree re Joni Taylor. Her resume says otherwise. She was the 2021 SEC Coach of the Year. Was also a finalist for Naismith Coach of the year. That same year she lead her team to the SEC championship game. If Coach Abe had her team playing better, it didn't lead to better results. Kim's coaching effort, however, did lead to better results in year 1.

Georgia was picked to finish 9th that year, so yeah. She didn't have the amount of talent SC, A&M, and Tenn had that year. Had more upperclassmen, but definitely not more talent. (That also is the year she beat Kellie twice in one season, btw.)

Coulibaly with Kyndall Hunter and Janiah Barker makes a very strong nucleus. Not sure who else they have returning, but that's three top notch scorers. Throw in a pass-first PG who can hit the three (think they have one) and a PF or C for defense and rebounding, and they are a dangerous team.

I’m getting vibes PaoPao is looking at SC seriously, she shot over 40% from three, very low turnover ratio, she would pair with Raven quite well as the SG/CG if it happened….If not her I think for sure one of the Duke ladies would be expected with their Asst coach moving to SC today…guess we all have to wait and see.

SC will add 2 from the portal I am certain, they have 10 on the roster now. Likely going for one shooting/combo guard that has some defense built in and one wing type player that looks for their shot and can stretch a defense just a bit. That’s the needed pieces and CDS is looking hard at the options.

I personally expect a big jump from Feagin and Kitts in production/PT next season, and Watkins as well so the portal is only likely a necessity for a proven combo guard that can hit the 3 and guard, but again, you never know these days how players will choose their next stop.

She suffered a death if someone very close to her and started slipping in grades and overall performance. So at the end of the season in her exit interview it was hinted at her maybe to find another place . She didn’t want to leave it just wasn’t the best idea for her to stay .

Be patient. This time last year we all thought Rickea was going to Texas when she didn't immediately commit. She just took her time and made her other visits. Maybe Coulibaly will do the same. If not, we'll get someone else.
